Position Summary: L2's HR Generalist is primarily responsible for recruiting production and office staff positions; implementing policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment by serving as chairperson of our Safety Committee; managing the worker's compensation claim process; coordinating training programs, as well as coordinating various programs designed to increase employee engagement and satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Executes all aspects of the recruiting process of hourly and office team members.

2. Ensures a safe & healthy work environment throughout the facility by serving as Safety Committee chairperson, works diligently to identify safety hazards, and takes immediate corrective action.

3. Manages Worker's Compensation claims and identifies root cause to prevent a recurrence.

4. Coordinates in-house training programs utilizing L2's learning management system.

5. Coordinates annual charity donation programs and wellness programs.

Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent Human Resources experience
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment law
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office suite
  • Proficient using HRIS and applicant tracking software
  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred or willingness to test for certification
